If you aren’t prepared for your skydiving experience, it may not be as enjoyable as it could be. There are a few things that you need to do and bring in order to make your skydiving experience as incredible as possible, and we’ve made a list for you – just to make your life a little easier. Here are a few ways for you to prepare for your skydiving experience:
Research
If it is your first skydiving experience, or your first experience in a new location, you may feel a bit nervous. To calm your nerves, we recommend doing some research on the drop-zone. Look at what other people have said about their experience in this location. This will help you prepare for your experience.
The night before
If you’re on holiday you might be tempted to stay up late with your friends or family. We’re here to tell you not to do that! The night before you enjoy your skydiving experience, make sure that you go to bed early. If you are nervous or overly excited, there is a chance that you could suffer from insomnia. It might be a good idea to take something that will help you sleep.
Breakfast
Do not skip breakfast! Though it is not wise to eat two plates of syrup coated pancakes before your skydiving experience, it is also not good to avoid breakfast entirely. Eat a light meal before the experience and pack a few snacks – you may be waiting longer than you expected.
Clothing
Wearing the wrong clothing while skydiving can make your experience uncomfortable. Make sure that the clothing you wear is fitted and that you have layers. Falling from the sky is just as chilly as you’d think it would be.
Capture it
Don’t forget to take a camera so that you can capture your skydiving experience. You’ll be very disappointed to have gone through the whole nerve-wracking process only to realise that you don’t have any evidence of your decent.
